2022 RMDC Pumpkin Bash

Hello everyone!

We ventured out to our local drift track, Rocky Mountain Drift Club (@rockymountaindriftclub) located in Claresholm Alberta, where they hosted Pumpkin Bash 2022 sponsored by Croaked Auto Styling ( @croaked.zzz ). At our beloved local track, Rocky Mountain Drift Club (RMDC), the amazing owner Jason, and his brilliant team consistently make our experience significantly better every time we visit their track for an amazing day of drifting. It just so happens this was their Halloween event which ran the entire weekend starting on Friday through Sunday of October 21-23, 2022!

Although the weather did not bring sunshine and a dry track that every driver was hoping for, they still had a fantastic day getting quality seat time, meeting old and new faces as well as smashing pumpkins provided by RMDC! During the weekend we experienced our first snowstorm of the season, but it did not scare away the drivers which was a great sight to see.

RMDC is a perfect place for drivers of all skill levels which gives ample opportunity to come out and learn how to drift alongside some of the kindest and most accepting people you can meet. The facility is very inviting and keeps everyone safe while having an amazing time with even better people and cars. To make it even better; RMDC’s fees and costs are quite low, allowing you to buy tires and parts instead of paying for overly expensive memberships.

Pumpkin Bash 2022 was sponsored by Croaked Auto Styling, a local Calgary-based shop offering services from vinyl wrap to PPF and other services. They were giving out goodie bags and trophies at the end of the event. Seeing the whole Croaked team on track is always nice, these boys put style over everything.

This community is a very accepting and knowledgeable community. My first time attending the track where I was there to drive was very nerve-racking. I stepped out of my car to immediately be greeted by Jason (the owner of RMDC) who was extremely friendly and was stoked to have me out for the first time! He explained it is a judgment-free zone and I would be ripping it up the second I got out there. This was a very special moment for me, when I went out for my first lap, Jason set up a figure eight pattern for me to practice on first, so I could get a feel for things. That really says the truth about the characters you get when you come to RMDC. Everyone is so sincere and wants to see you succeed and have fun! That truly is the brilliance behind this special place. It does not matter what car you drive, how much money you have, or how much seat time you have. Rocky Mountain Drift Club is more than just a group of people who meet at the track; it's an extended family.

Regardless if you drift or not, or show an interest in cars, please go visit Rocky Mountain Drift Club; you will not be disappointed. The elegance behind drifting truly is an art and we look forward to sharing this special place on Garage13
